I’m delighted to announce that my new single (Tin Man) and B Side (14) are both finished, mixed, mastered and sounding fabulous!!
I haven’t set a release date in stone yet, however, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in the process.
Both tracks were recorded at The Depot with Garry Boyle of CP Productions. I’ve been lucky enough to work with Garry before, but it’s always a pleasure and we had a fantastic couple of days arranging these two tunes.
As ever Lewis Rumney was present, filling in as my long suffering one man band! I fear I spend too much time on this blog thanking Lewis for his numerous musical performances, but on this occasion I really feel he has out done himself and it’s worthy of a mention. ;)
Kayla has produced more incredible art work for this release, and I can’t wait for you all to see it! Look out for it littering your facebook and twitter feeds within the next few days! ;)
I was also lucky enough to record these songs as part of Creative Scotland‘s Cash Back for Creativity initiative. This basically means that young artists aged between 18-24 (like me!) are able to record in a professional environment and with a professional sound engineer. I know Lewis and I both enjoyed the change of pace after recording my entire EP in a bedroom! ;)
So thanks again to Garry for the opportunity, and I hope you’re all as keen for this release as I am!
